The movements seem really good so far, I can actually see whats happening unlike other anime’s where they make their movements to quick to see properly. Also the music is interesting, it works really well with the fight but not at a fast pace like I expected. I am liking him less and less ever since since he seems to have cheated on Iri. What the hell is that supposed to mean? It feels rather patronising, maybe he really is looking down on Saber because she’s a women. . Huh? I did not notice that before, is there a reason her sword seems to be invisible? It looks kind of strange. I also did think she’d be better than this? But I guess she’s facing a strong opponent, I seriously want to learn who he is though. . Well good game plan at least, I guess? So the assassin I’m assuming is from the darkness or shadow whatever that was last episode…I think. And ha, your minions been spotted already, to bad for you 😛 Oh so like power levels? Sweet!She is a homunculas, what?! So she’s an artificial created human? Or am I just thinking about full metal alchemist brotherhood to much?I thought you just said that Assassin was in your blind spot? How are you meant to attack him? Oh! Okay, right so she can use wind magic now? I wonder what other magic she can use?It seems like you’ve underestimated him idiot, though if you haven’t and it turns out you can destroy this guy no problem like some animes where it lets you believe the hero of the story is getting beaten when it turns out they can destroy their enemy easily though if thats the case then why that expression?I will be shocked if this plan works, number one rule in all shows if you talk about your plan or the viewers sees a flashback like this then it most probably is not going to go how you want it to. This was a surprise…. note my sarcasm, why did you think that blow was going to miss its mark? You’ve already seen and felt how good he is? Why expect him to make a mistake now? oh yeah, healing powers, I may have forgotten about that, at least she doesn’t have to worry so much about being injured with a healer at her side. Oh okay, forget what I said, I guess this explains why she thought her plan would work but I suppose that means her armour is magically “strong” as well or is it like, just really thick armour. Wow okay can I have that spear then and that armour? Mind if I borrow them? Now those are some pretty useful weapons and tools are your disposal. Gimme! Love the fast paced music, the fighting style is really animated well. I’m not sure if I mentioned that I really love the fact that they both seem respectful towards each other. Instead of the first enemy she faces being a massive dick. I guess it makes sense that she’d take away her armour, its not exactly useful at the moment. Not really as I doubt you’d be able to take them all down in one swoop, the hunting them down individually makes more sense to me to be honest. Yeah I agree with Waver on this one, I think your servants being a idiot here. Dam honour, you could die, does someone need to hit that into your thick skull, maybe Saber?Apart from the fact this isn’t a conquest dude! You’re trying to kill them all, not take over a part of land with a army.

I like him a lot more than his master, who can’t seem to understand the meaning of respect and honour in battle. I love how Waver and Rider have two completely different expressions on their faces, they’re defiantly a fun pair to watch, just make sure you don’t die. Welcome back! Hope you had a good couple of days! Well no time for chit chat! Lets hop in! I’ve gone over the last two episodes so I’m clearer on some of the details.
Okay, so the guy in reds name is Tokiomi, I believe he was working together with Kirei (I’m hoping I’m getting these name right) in secret so I’m not sure why he let his servant attack the assassin servant? Mmmm, not sure if I like this servant or not. Don’t get me wrong he looks epic but seems rather prideful. Too prideful for my liking with a stick stuck up your ass attitude.
Oooh so the heroic spirits can come from legends and not just historic real figures, nice! I was wondering how they all fit in. I also realised while going over the episodes that Saber was the type of servant, not a name, so sorry about that. So there are different categories of heroes and different people within those categories they can choose from depending on what relic they get for the summoning, I think. Also I like that this servant is giving Waver (Yay I remembered his name) a lesson. If they’re both going to survive this they both need to listen to each other more. Also wow the assassin is actually dead, I thought he might be but I didn’t think we’d lose a servant so soon.
Oh my god, please do blow up the whole house, I don’t know why I find this so funny, maybe because he got himself into this mess, lol.
Oh wow this was all planned! I had no idea! Though I do not understand at all why and what the hell their plan is. Without a servant how can he even help Tokiome? I don’t get it but I can’t wait to find out.
Um who the hell is that? Don’t tell me… There are more?! Wait I assumed that you could only get one servant from one category unless what I talked about from the beginning was completely wrong which I wouldn’t put it past me. Though if you can summon more assassins then why on earth don’t the other masters summon more servants of Saber, Archer, etc? Soo confused.
So does that mean they are all one spirit? Was assassin part of that spirit as well. Are all these one servant that can split into many? Well its just guesses. Thats all I am, lol.

Saber looks so bored, haha. Usually when characters come from a different era its them thats gazing at everything like that, I quite like this twist lol. So she can ride anything huh, maybe she could possibly ride that chariot that the spirit with Waver has?
Iri has never been out before? What? How? Why? And why hasn’t the guy she in love with done something about this? Surely he could have shown her around a bit? No wonder she is excited!
Seriously though, why couldn’t he have, I don’t know, actually got you out of that castle and shown you the world?
And who would you be? Well this dark mysterious atmosphere is foreboding, makes me feel like this is some sort of thriller spy movie, especially because they are both dressed in black. I’m hoping they are dressed in black to blend into the night more, if not, would it hurt both of you to have a splash of colour? Um isn’t that just using her as bait? Why do you need to pretend? Whats the point of hiding? You’ll be revealed soon another anyway because two of the masters already know you are a master.
I think I can read his mind, it goes something like “Uh oh, him again” and……
Have I not said that it is awesome that this is based in the modern day and mages are using guns? Well its awwwesoome.

I feel so sad now, she has no idea that she’s being cheated on and so happy. I almost feel betrayed myself that I thought he was a good guy, whats wrong with me? I almost want Saber to kick his ass but his her master so that won’t work out.
Sod his pain! If he is in love with you, which I doubt now because of the other women, then shouldn’t he have shown you the world? Not let you waste your life away without going outside. Mmmm you know what, thinking about shipping, you and Saber would make a nice couple. Walking the beach together and looking at the ocean. Replace him with Saber, Iri, I know you can do it! Okay may be slightly carried away but I ship you two.
Oooh. Music has picked up, I can’t wait! Also more scenes with Iri and Saber incoming! I hope we get a lot of scenes with them in the future.

Okay to be honest I do not blame Waver at all and relate to him a lot here, yeah I may have a slight fear of heights (cough) big fear of heights (cough). I most probably would have used the command spell to get him to take me down already, so I give him props for sticking it out and for even following him up there in the first place.

Oh wow and who the hell are you? I seriously want to know what history or legend you came from. You may die in this fight because there is no way Saber is going to lose because we’ve spent so much time with her. However you do look, I have to say, really freaking cool!

A mysterious dark atmosphere and and eye, well thats one way to start of an episode. Isn’t that the kid? Well, young adult, whatever his age. Why would he be hiding?
Well they don’t get along, as soon as I saw him I had a feeling they wouldn’t. I wonder why he is his servant, they just seem so different from each other? I guess they don’t have compatible personality’s unless one of them has a secret side and they have something similar with each other which would be interesting to see. Also why saddle the kid with someone who wants to rule the world, lol. Well I rather like the dream though he is right about him having to toughen up a bit, especially if he wants to get the holy grail.
Hell yes I am satisfied! That was amazing! Wait so that was a gift from Zeus? Gods like that exist in this anime? Or are the mages able to bring myth to “reality” ? Its probably best you don’t anger him kid! The three commands was also useful info, I’m glad to know that the masters don’t have absolute control over them and they’re they are there own people. Though I do believe that these two will form a very close bond over time despite not liking each other at first.
This is so cute! I am assuming because of her looks she is his and Iri’s daughter? I love how he is in all black but she stands out with her purple clothes in the woods. It also makes me feel sad because of how innocent she is and what’ll happen when she finds out her father does, though I am really happy he is spending quality time with his daughter. A lot more happy and navie compared to Rin but I think I’m falling in love them both.
Oh wow! What a reveal! I did think for a couple of seconds that they had gotten the wrong servant and not thinking about my thoughts last episodes about Arthur being a women. Though does that mean Arthur was a made up name to keep people from knowing she is a women? Or if Arthur is still her true name, why is Iri calling her Saber? Unless maybe they have their real names from that era and their servant names? Maybe?
Now this is an odd pair, I wonder who the serial killer guy is, a very interesting character, the both of them. Though I do wonder how the summoning got mistaking for summoning demons, unless this servant is actually a demon but I think he/it said they were a caster? Whatever that means. Last episode I remember hearing that everyone who is chosen has a reason to seek out the Holy Grail, I wonder what the serial killers reason will be and he like knows nothing about it. At first I thought it was funny that this Servant was so different but the way he is talking to the kid and telling him to walk out the door is giving me the creeps….
I knew it! Oh god, poor kid!
I am honestly so interested in this partnership and also creeped out at the same time. I almost smiled when the servant was so happy that his master understood him, whats wrong with me, rooting for basically serial killers and possibly a demon, haha.
Why do you need a new name? I want to know you’re name from the era you’ve come from! No fair! Though is that the reason why the servant that was Arthur is now called Saber? Do they change their names to suit this era more? Why….. Though I swear if his/its real name is Mordred, Arthur/Saber better nope out of there fast if she meets it/him, which I assume she will at some point. I’m still calling them an it until until I know for sure the serial killer didn’t actually summon a demon.
I still don’t understand this, how can the assassin (I believe this is the assassin) Wasn’t he there before? I don’t think he was summoned around the same time as the rest, I’m confused though the music is great and I wonder who he is trying to assassinate, do I know them or not?
I have so many questions! No it can’t be over! Wow I feel like this went by in a much shorter time than the other one. I thought he was trying to someone, not still a jewel? Is he dead? Is the assassin really dead? Who is that knight in shining armour guy? I mean I know he must be a servant but which one and who is his master? So many questions so little answers! Can’t wait for more!

Welcome to the new anime series that I will be watching, this will be more of a commentary of sorts and anything else I want to add. I will screen shot certain scenes as I watch the anime and put my thoughts below. These should be short but I will make them longer depending on how much commentary I want to write. Hope you enjoy!
What now? What is going on? So her name is Iri? I can not spell the guys name at all. I’m guessing that the baby will be our main character? Secretive father, whats knew? Though I think it be best if you run away Iri, he is handing you death flags right there. I will be surprised if you survive the series to be honest. I have to say I do like her eyes, I’m not sure why. Maybe because red eyes usually are for the bad guys but they somehow make hers look really caring and pretty.
I am a little unsettled at how white everything looks, I don’t know, I guess I don’t like those type of surroundings and it makes everything feel fake, to perfect, to shiny. Despite the blizzard I can really imagine this castle being surrounded by darkness but maybe thats just me. The scene before that confused to to no end so I can’t wait to know more, like what battle? Are they like royalty? I assume they both are incredibly rich and/or important to be living in somewhere like that. I do like that they both seem good hearted and I wanted to give the guy a hug when he basically said he doesn’t deserve to hold his daughter, of course you do random stranger- who- I-have- no- clue- about- the- past- and-its- most- probably- something- horrific- by- the- way- he- is- talking- but- I-don’t- care, hug your daughter man! YES, thank you.
The guy who is pouring the cup, I am calling it now that his a bad guy, mainly because of this imagery. You can not tell me that this wine does not look at all like blood. I would not be surprised if he turned out to be some kind of vampire and the way he is talking is making me uncomfortable. Oh that means that symbol on the fathers hand earler means something and not just some cool character design, symbolism type thing? Cool!
Are they seriously circling him like sharks? Leave him alone! Have they read the how to be a bad guy mantel 101? Though this is getting interesting. So I gather that they are going to team up in secret and kill the other “masters” whatever that means. They are doing to to stop the other masters from reaching the Holy Grail which can grant them wishes? Yeah this is probably completely wrong but this is what I am getting at the moment.
Crest worms? What the? I’m guessing that its nothing good. Anything that is called Crest Worms can’t be good. So he is offering himself to fight instead of doing whatever they are doing to that women, I’m not sure what the relationship between them yet is. I assume it’ll be giving him problems in the future once his somehow gained power from them.
This evil guy is his dad? Bloody hell. So these are the crest worms? What the hell? They are so creepy. I have no idea how those worms work, how does them “breeding” make you magically stronger? So strange. I assumed that he’d be injected with some kind of worms so they’d be inside him or something like that, not that he’d have to lie in them, they remind me of cockroaches, ugh. Well his reason to find the Holy Grail seems definitely better than the other guys but doesn’t he have to be like chosen first and have one of those odd markings on his hand? I’m confused.
Another main character I guess? Or supporting character. We either have a lot of main characters or our actual protagonist hasn’t shown themselves yet. Oooh interesting so this anime probably will have a lot of class issues going on due to blood line and the way magic develops. I wonder which ones right, I hope the character that wrote the essay is right but then why would the bloodline generation thing be a problem if anyone could get really powerful with the right training? That package or/and book looks important, please read it or/and open it!
You’re getting yourself into a lot of trouble kid, I hope you really are very talented or you may die very soon. I have a feeling that trying to become one of the chosen ones is going to be lot harder than you think. All the servants look so awesome, I wonder which one he will get?

Anyway I really love this back and forth, what a way to do exposition! Love it! I seriously can’t wait to find out who the other masters are. I love how they are both so confused by each other but seem similar at the same time. Both assuming the worst about each other I see. Despite all the assassinations I am still rooting for the guy with Iri. I wonder how powerful Iri is and if she’ll have more spot light at some point or is she just the “love interest”?

It’ll be quite funny if he doesn’t end up with King Arthur like he is expecting. Yay I know that his a good guy despite the assassination details. I really love the look of this weapon also. The fact they all have different reasons to why they want to do this and the way this anime is giving the characters a lot of time to shine is great. Why did I not watch this anime sooner? Also the King Arthur servant surprised me, does that mean a lot of this or some will be based a little on the King Arthur myths like Seven Deadly Sins? Cool.
See, Rin! Isn’t that a easy name to remember? Yes! I wonder if she’ll be a main character in the future? I though she was his daughter at first, ha. I hope she is in the story more! I like her! Did not expect that creepy guy to be her father though. She is so cute and I love her attitude. The light shining behind them also makes it so maybe they could be Kirei’s reason for staying alive, protecting her husband and his daughter. Or who knows, he might fail and the girl could grow up and try and get revenge on Kirei for failing to protect her father.
This is getting epic, so far my two favourite masters are the guy with silver hair because of the worms, I think he deserves the Grail because he is basically sacrificing himself to save that girl and I assume a women that I heard about in the beginning. Though I also want the guy above to get it because I think he has some great ideas about what to do with the wish and could do the world a lot of good, especially as his ideals are probably what helped her fall in love with him despite what his done, so they must be good and powerful. Though I am very worried about what the power “madness” means. What is the silver hair dude doing? Also the music is getting epic so I can’t wait.

This is so cute! I am assuming because of her looks she is his and Iri’s daughter? I love how he is in all black but she stands out with her purple clothes in the woods. It also makes me feel sad because of how innocent she is and what’ll happen when she finds out her father does, though I am really happy he is spending quality time with his daughter. A lot more happy and navie compared to Rin but I think I’m falling in love them both. 
See, Rin! Isn’t that a easy name to remember? Yes! I wonder if she’ll be a main character in the future? I though she was his daughter at first, ha. I hope she is in the story more! I like her! Did not expect that creepy guy to be her father though. She is so cute and I love her attitude. The light shining behind them also makes it so maybe they could be Kirei’s reason for staying alive, protecting her husband and his daughter. Or who knows, he might fail and the girl could grow up and try and get revenge on Kirei for failing to protect her father. 
I love this! Who is it? Is this Arthur and it turns out she is a women? Or is she someone completely different? I can’t wait to find out! This is so interesting! I seriously want to find out who got what Servants, though I was surprised that the guy with Kerei did the summoning, I thought he already had a servant? The assassin? Mmmm, I might be getting confused but I can’t wait to learn and watch more!
